Gaim --> Pidgin

So to appease the great AOL gods, gaim is now known as Pidgin. OTR is not yet ready for this client so use the OTR proxy until then. Also, here's a quick howto for setting up Google chat with the Pidgin client by way of the Jabber/XMPP protocol.
